The School Day

Total hours of school time - 32.5 hours per week

 

Morning

8:30am - Gates open for children.

8:35am - Doors open for classrooms.

8:45am - Doors close & Register closes – after this time, children arriving will be deemed as late and will need to sign in at the front office.

 

End of the Day

3:00pm - Gates open 

3:10pm - EYFS Home Time

3:15pm - KS1 & KS2 Home Time 

 

Drop-off and collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are to stay with children on the playground until classroom doors open, please do not leave children unattended. This makes sure children are passed over safely to an appropriate adult.

If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know. We have a password system for any changes to routine if a child is to be collected by a different member of the family or friend.  This avoids any confusion or upset. Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it's healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.

Please note you are not allowed to park at the side of school on Lansdowne Road where traffic management yellow lines are in place. Please be mindful that you are compromising the safety of the children when doing so.
